To make your page even more dynamic and customizable, we created a Local State feature.

This allows you to add custom variables with key and value fields, which can be used throughout your app session in 2 ways:

1. Reference and inject your dynamic Local State variables into modules, use for Display Conditions, and more

2. Modify the variables in real-time based on user actions using the Update Session Data function.

Screenshot showing 2 custom variables 'showData' with static text and 'name' with a dynamic variable based on another data source.

Example: Updating Local State via Update Session Data action

When you add a new 'item' to update in Update Session Data, simply click on the 'key' field and select your 'Local State' data source and the field you want to update.

Next, either manually type a static value or insert a dynamic value.
